Player Bio

A middle-order batter with a bit of flair and an efficient seam-up bowler, Ayushi Soni is a Delhi cricketer and a crucial member of the Supernovas team headed by Harmanpreet Kaur in the Women's T20 Challenge.

One of the most memorable moments of her career was two years ago in a T20 game for Delhi. Two runs were required of the last delivery and Ayushi hit a six to seal the victory. Having been selected in the U-19 squad for Delhi, she didn’t get an opportunity to play but it was a learning curvature for the youngster. A year later she found herself leading the U-19 squad.

On the back of superb performances, she was given the chance to prove her leadership skills for the U-23 team and her ultimate goal of playing for Team India became true. In the recently concluded limited-overs series against the Proteas, Ayushi made her T20I debut on March 23rd, 2021. In a one-sided victory against South Africa Women, she didn’t get an opportunity to either bat or bowl but sharing the dressing room with some of the Indian legends was a big moment for her.
