Simarjeet Singh is a 24-year old right-arm medium pacer who plays for Delhi in India’s domestic circuit. The player debuted for the side in Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad in November 2018. He has been a crucial member of Delhi’s first-class side with his ability to click 140 kmph. 

Simarjeet has been a part of the Delhi Capitals’ net bowling unit for the past few seasons where he caught the attention of national team scouts. He also became a part of Team India’s excursion to Sri Lanka this year serving as a net bowler.

Apart from this, he also replaced injured Arjun Tendulkar for Mumbai Indians in the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The player earned his first IPL contract in IPL Mega-auction 2022 as the four-time champion side, Chennai Super Kings bought him at his base price of ₹20 lakhs.

Simarjeet has played 20 T20I games for Delhi in the domestic circuit and has bagged as many wickets for his side. He averages 20.33 with the cork in hand in this format. Apart from this, Simarjeet great List A record to his name with 37 wickets to his name in his 10 appearances.
