Player Bio
A lanky medium pacer from Melbourne, McKay is considered to have a firm grounding in the basics. Although not extremely quick, he consistently bowls in the corridor outside the off stump, and forces batsmen to make mistakes – a handy skill in limited-overs cricket. His is known to pick up a wicket every two and half overs in Twenty20 cricket. McKay made his first-class debut in 2006-07 and has consistently been among the wickets for Victoria. On the Twenty20 front, he has turned out for Victoria, Yorkshire and the Melbourne Stars. In 2012 he turned out for Mumbai Indians and this year will suit up for Sunrisers Hyderabad, who paid $100,000 for him.
