Player Bio

Prerak Mankad is an Indian all-rounder who represents Saurashtra in the Indian domestic circuit. He came into the limelight after scoring 212 runs in six matches for Saurashtra in the 2018–19 edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT). Mankad was Saurashtra’s leading run-scorer in that tournament. The 27-year-old has been signed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the mega-auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 and we might soon see him ply his trade for them in the 'Toughest 20'.

Mankad’s first-class debut came in a very high profile encounter, the 2015–16 season of Ranji Trophy Final on 24th February 2016. In the next season itself, he made his List A debut for Saurashtra in the 2016–17 season of VHT. The Sirohi-born has been very consistent for Saurashtra over the years and averages over 33 in First Class, List A and domestic T20 tournaments. The Rajasthan cricketer is a complete package as he is equally effective with both bat and ball in his hand.
