Player Bio

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh (UP), Aryan Juyal is a right-handed batter, born on November 11, 2001. While playing a local tournament at Dehradun, coach Ravindra Negi spotted the spark in the 11-year-old and enrolled him in his academy, where young Juyal started his cricketing career at a competitive level.

Aryan had to shift to Moradabad from where he used to travel to Delhi for practice at the LB Shastri club, under the coaching of Sanjay Bharadwaj. He represented UP at the U-14 and U-16 levels from thereon.

The young gun made his U-19 debut for UP in 2017, where he amassed 401 runs in 5 innings in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The Moradabad-born was also impressive in the Challenger Trophy in the same year. He was the fourth-highest run-scorer of the tournament, which helped him reserve a ticket for the 2018 edition of the U-19 Cricket World Cup. The youngster was one of the members to lift the U-19 World Cup for the 4th time after beating Australia comprehensively in 2018.

Juyal made his List-A debut in the 2018 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) against Himachal Pradesh and has cemented his place for UP by now. The Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise bought Aryan in the 2022 mega-auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the base price of INR 20 lakhs.
