A promising young cricketer, Mitchell Owen is an Australian cricketer who signed a deal with Hobart Hurricanes ahead of BBL season 10.
Owen is an all-rounder by profession who bowls right-arm medium pace and if needed can chip in with useful runs lower down the order.
The Hobart-based cricketer was spotted at a young age and was a part of the Tasmania second XI, where he developed his skills in the sport.
He made his List-A debut for Tasmania in the 2020-21 Marsh One-Day Cup.
Owens was spotted playing for local side New Town before his Tasmanian Tigers and Hurricanes selection.
