Player Bio

Olivia P Porter, a right-handed batter and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, plays for ACT Meteors in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash Premier League (WBBL).

The all-rounder spent her childhood playing in the Underage National Championships in Gladesville. Then, forced into Ryde Hunters Hill Pirates Cricket Club, a boys' team, at the age of 10, Porter got her first taste of club cricket.

She made her debut in the WNCL for the Meteors in January 2021. The all-rounder featured in six games for the side throughout the season.

After suffering an injury to her right leg, the 21-year-old could not participate in the sixth edition of the WBBL. However, she entered a two-year deal with Sydney Thunder in July 2021.

Porter debuted for Thunder in WBBL08 against Hobart Hurricanes but couldn't contribute much. However, she will look to do well in the coming seasons.
