A left-handed all-rounder Sophie Day plays for the Victorian team in the domestic circuit.
Her debut season came in the 2020-21 Women's National Cricket League, wherein she played two matches and contributed 23 runs and a solitary wicket.
Day featured in the 2020-21 edition of Women's Big Bash League for Melbourne Stars. The talented spinner took 11 wickets in 15 matches at an economy of 6.66. Although, she didn't get enough chances with the bat.
In the 2021-22 domestic season, the southpaw garnered 67 runs and took three wickets in seven appearances. The 24-year-old then featured in the WBBL and took four wickets in 10 matches.
Day is the leading wicket-taker for Victoria with 10 scalps in four matches of the WNCL, with best figures of 5/41.
