Player Bio

A vital cog in the England Under-19 side, Lewis Peter Goldsworthy is the true definition of a three-dimensional player. Coming in at no.5, Goldsworthy has the ability to stabilize a faltering innings and increase the scoring rate in the latter stages of the game.

A product of the Somerset Academy, Goldsworthy is a wily all-rounder who bats right-handed and can also chip in with left-arm spin to the best of use.

He was a part of the England squad for the 2020 ICC Under-19 World Cup. The Three Lions were eliminated early in the competition, but Goldsworthy was the standout player for them, finishing the tournament with 12 scalps at an average of 9.58.

Goldsworthy finally broke into the first team XI and made his much awaited first class debut for Somerset in the 2021 County Championship.

Another fine all-rounder in the making, Goldsworthy has already proven his worth with the England Under-19 side. He’ll be looking to have a stellar 2021 domestic season, in order to secure a place in the England national squad.
