Born in Schiedam, Tom Heggelman is a professional Dutch cricketer who played in all age groups for the Netherlands before making his first-class debut against Ireland on August 11th, 2010.
He blasted 128 runs for the A-side against Denmark which led to his maiden callup to the national side. Heggelman made his international debut in August 2010 against Ireland in an ODI fixture and was dismissed on 2 runs as the Netherlands lost by 70 runs.
A top-order batsman, he featured in just 5 ODIs for his country in an international career that ended in September 2011. Heggelman continued to play domestically until 2013 and was picked in the 2014 T20 World Cup squad but did not play in any match. At the age of 34, Heggelman is yet to make his return to competitive cricket since 2014.
