26-year-old Ryan Ninan was born in Kerala but learnt the nuances of off-spin bowling in Bangalore. Unable to break into a strong Karnataka team, he decided to move to Goa and represented them in first-class cricket.
However, he is back in Karnataka and in contention for a spot in the state side. He was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team that made it to the final of the 2011 CLT20 and will continue playing for the team in IPL 2012.
