Player Bio

A well-composed all-rounder in all three formats of the game, Salman Ali Agha is a professional cricketer for the Pakistan national team. At the age of 27, he has been a regular feature in the domestic circuit and wants to emulate legendary batsman Mohammad Yousuf.

The Lahore-born all-rounder started his domestic journey when he was just a teenager in 2013 representing Lahore Shalimar in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Within a span of a month, Salman made his first-class and List A debut for Lahore in February 2013.

For more than six years Salman has been grinding in the domestic circuit and was named in the 20-man squad for the series against South Africa after a remarkable season in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy where he scored 941 runs, smashing two centuries and six half-centuries. Being shortlisted among some of the veterans and legendary Pakistan cricketers was a huge achievement for him even though he was not selected to play in any of the fixtures.

The talented all-rounder has been the talk of the show when his PSL and domestic exploits for Lahore earned him another callup in the limited-overs squad for their tour to England. With an optimistic and calm personality on and off the pitch, Salman would be hoping to earn his maiden cap among other talented all-rounders in Pakistan’s squad.
