Edwards Barnes is an English cricketer who plays for Leicestershire in the English County Championship.
A right-arm fast bowler, Barnes made his first-class debut for Derbyshire in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy. Prior to that, he has represented England at the Under-19 level.
Barnes started playing for Yorkshire in 2020 and seeing his potential, Barnes was sent on loan to Derbyshire.
But the pacer failed to gain a permanent place in a star-studded Yorkshire side and was roped in by the Foxes ahead of the 2021 domestic season.
A huge 2021 season lies ahead of Barnes. If he performs well on a consistent basis, the doors for the national selection will open very soon for him.
