Player Bio

A renowned all-rounder, Hayden Kerr is a professional Australian cricketer for the Sydney Sixers who earned his maiden Big Bash League (BBL) contract through strong performances with the Sixers Academy for the second string team in the Sydney Premier cricket.

A left-arm pacer who can swing the ball both ways, Hayden is also known for his lower-order power hitting skills. The all-rounder made his BBL debut in the Sixer’s first match of the ninth season against Perth Scorchers and featured in five matches in his debut campaign.

Hayden was the leading run-getter in the 2019-20 Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup with 340 runs for his University at a phenomenal average of 92. His exploits in the premier tournament resulted in him being named as the joint 2019-20 Bill O’Reilly Medalist with three other players in NSW premier cricket and also re-signed for the Sixers for the tenth edition of the BBL.
