Player Bio

Nick Hobson is a talented up and coming left-handed batter for Western Australia and Perth Scorchers. He has been a high-prolific player for his state team and has been a performer from his age-group days.

Born in Perth, Hobson first came into recognition when he represented Western Australia at the National Under 19s Carnival in 2012-13, before becoming a local hero for the state side during WA’s Futures League team. The youngster scored an enthralling 102 during the 2014-15 season, since then there has been no stopping for him.

The Perth-born got his dream come true when he made his Big Bash debut in the 2018-19 season. He represented the Scorchers in a match against Sydney Thunder, and he has been a part of their squad since then.

The left-handed top-batter has been consistent for Western Australia’s state side and U-23 team. He has also represented Durham’s second XI in the past. The youngster has been doing his routines right and has all the ingredients to go to the next level.
