Player Bio

A right-arm quick who can seam and swing the ball both ways, Jasdeep Singh is a professional cricketer for the USA. Nicknamed “Jessy”, the New York-born pacer made his first-class debut in Sri Lankan domestic cricket playing for Kalutara Physical Culture Club.

After a string of impressive performances in the 2011 U-19 World Cup Qualifiers, he developed into a medium pacer and continuously plundered wickets in the New Jersey Cricket League. A string of solid contributions for the USA at the World Cricket League Division 4 in 2016 helped secure him a spot on the ICC Americas team to play in the Super50 tournament held in Caribbean Islands.

When the USA gained the ODI status back in 2019, Jasdeep made his international debut against Papua New Guinea on April 27th, 2019 and scalped his maiden international wicket in just the 4 overs he bowled. Handy with the bat as well, Jessy is a dynamic fielder and has built a reputation of being one of the hardest working cricketers in the United States.
