A top-order batter with a reputation as a big-game performer, Jess Duffin is a professional Australian cricketer who made her international debut long back in 2009 in a T20I fixture against the White Ferns. She went on to make a name for herself at elite international events being a part of 2010, 2012 and 2014 T20 World Cup-winning sides as well as the 2013 World Cup champions. 

Duffin’s career highlight came in 2013 when she won the 2013 Belinda Clarke award for being adjudged as the best women’s international cricketer for the year. Apart from cricket, she has also played for North Melbourne in the Australian Football League as a half-back flanker.

Having represented her country more than 100 times, the 32-year old was named as the skipper of Melbourne Renegades in the Women’s Big Bash League ahead of the 2020 WBBL and is currently one of the leading batters in Australian cricket.
