Player Bio

Makinley Blows is a pure allrounder, a fast-medium pacer and a middle-order batter, who has been a part of Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) since the inaugural edition and also a bright prospect to don the Australian jersey.

Born in New South Wales, Blows is a product of Essendon-Maribyrnong Park who emerged from the U-18 State Female Championships. In 2014-15, she scored two unbeaten hundreds to become an enchanted name in the Australian setup.

The following year, the youngster scored another unbeaten century, a 152 not out, to help her side get into the finals of the 2015-16 U18 State Female Championships.

After a fine junior career, the allrounder graduated to become a regular member of the Victorian Women’s team and hasn't dropped a beat since then. During the WBBL |01, she signed a rookie contract with Melbourne Renegades, before shifting her base to play for the Stars in WBBL|04.

From the last three editions, Blows has become a regular seeding in the Stars lineup and in the WBBL|07, the allrounder has again shifted back in the Renegades camp. Now, she would like to produce a breakthrough season, which could help receive her maiden national call-up.
