Player Bio

Stella Campbell - a lanky bowler from New South Wales- whose growing strength and control make her one of Australia’s most exciting young prospects. The pacer has impressed everyone with her bounce and pace, in the last couple of seasons.

Campbell is a former Australian Under 19 player, who toured with the squad to play South Africa and New Zealand back in 2018 and 2019. Although she sharpened her skills at the New South Wales pathway system.

At 16, the pacer was contracted by Sydney Sixers to play in the fourth edition of Women’s Big Bash League. She debuted for the Sixers during the 2019/20 season and finished her first WBBL campaign with five wickets. Later that season, Campbell made his NSW Breakers debut and finished her first WNCL season with nine wickets.

At the end of 2019, Campbell was part of the Governor-General's XI, which played a warm-up game against India, ahead of the T20 World Cup of 2020. In September 2020, she re-signed for the Sixers for the 2020-21 tournament, ending the season with 10 scalps to her name.

In August 2021, Campbell earned her maiden national call-up for the all-format series against India, where the exciting speedster would be sharing the dressing room with some of the biggest names in World Cricket.
