An opening batter with plenty of flair, Naomi Stalenberg is a professional Australian cricketer for the Hobart Hurricanes. Naomi started playing cricket when she was just 8 and made her professional debut for the New South Wales Breakers in 2013 at the age of 19.

The 27-year old soon progressed into the senior team and became a regular on the Breaker’s side. She was also a part of the Aussie’s squad that won the 2014 T20 World Cup. Naomi joined Sydney Thunders in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Big Bash League and her performances in the title-winning side earned her a callup from the national side.

The Blacktown-born batter made her T20I debut against India on January 26th, 2016 but failed to cement her place and eventually got sidelined after just one international appearance. After moving to Hobart Hurricanes, she has now become a regular for the Women in Purple at the top of the order.
