Player Bio

A talented bowling all-rounder, Taneale Peschel is a professional Australian cricketer for the Perth Scorchers who made her domestic debut for the Western Fury in the 2015-16 season. The 27-year old represented her country in the World Women's Indoor Cricket Championship in 2011 and gained plenty of experience in the U-15 and U-17 competitions.

Peschel was impressive in the Ballarat tournament picking up her maiden five-wicket haul to bundle out Tasmania for just 51 runs. Her exploits at the domestic level earned her a maiden contract in the Women’s Big Bash League for the Perth Scorchers in its third edition. After just 2 appearances in her debut season, Peschel cemented her spot in the Scorchers squad next season and went on to become a regular playing 40 matches in the last 3 seasons

The pacer started playing cricket since she was 15 and one day hopes to secure a full-time contract with both the Perth Scorchers and the Australian national team.
