Player Bio

Born in Sylhet, Khaled Ahmed made his First-Class debut in the 2015-16 National Cricket League for the Sylhet Division. Two years later, he made his List A debut in 2017 for Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League and his T20 debut in the 2017-18 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Dhaka Dynamites. 

Khaled rose to the limelight when bagged 17 wickets at an average of 34.70 in the 2017-18 Dhaka Premier League, and earned the call-up to Bangladesh A team. He performed well there and grabbed ten wickets in a five-match unofficial ODI series against Ireland A.

The 29-year-old recorded his first ten-wicket haul in First-Class cricket in a match against Dhaka Metropolis in the 2018–19 National Cricket League in October 2018. Later that month, he was named to the Chittagong Vikings squad after the draft for the BPL 2018–19.

Khaled Ahmed was named in Bangladesh's Test squad for their series against Zimbabwe and made his Test cricket debut for Bangladesh cricket team in November 2018 against Zimbabwe.

The fast bowler was selected to play for the Bangladesh Emerging Team in their home series against the Ireland Wolves in February 2021 and was also picked in Bangladesh's preliminary test team for the series against Sri Lanka in April 2021. In addition, he was named in Bangladesh's One-Day International (ODI) squad for a series against South Africa in March 2022.
