Player Bio

A gutsy allrounder by profession, Justin Greaves is a Barbadian cricketer who plays for Barbados in the West Indies domestic competitions.

He is a power-packed batter and is blessed with express pace, which he uses to churn out wickets in domestic competitions.

Greaves was a member of the West Indian squad for the 2012 Under-19 World Cup. Before making his first-class debut, Greaves decided to embark on a new journey and played for Sefton Park CC in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition in 2013.

After jotting down staggering numbers in England, Greaves returned back home and got a chance to make his first-class debut for Combined Campuses and Colleges in the 2013-14 Regional Four Day Competition.

In 2018, the big lad from Barbados was drafted in the Cricket West Indies B Team for the inaugural edition of the Global T20 tournament in Canada.

2019 brought more joy for him as the allrounder was roped in by the Barbados Tridents for the 2019 Caribbean Premier League.

Greaves has all the talent in the world, but the all-rounder has been a bit inconsistent at the domestic level. A lot was expected from him once the talismanic player returned back from England, but so far, Greaves has failed to achieve the targets which were set for him. The upcoming Caribbean Premier League will be crucial for him and it could open the doors for a potential national call-up.
