Player Bio

Hailing from Barbados, Joshua Bishop is a canny left-arm spinner who plays professionally for the West Indies cricket team. Bishop was a part of the West Indies U-19 setup and won the U-19 Player of the Award in 2019.

Playing for the West Indies u-19 team, the Barbados-born spinner made his List A debut against the Windward Islands on January 25th, 2017 in the Regional Super50 tournament. He scalped 2 wickets and remained unbeaten on 22 runs securing his spot in the limited-overs format.

Bishop was drafted in the Barbados Tridents squad for the 2019 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and has just 3 appearances for the franchise in 2 seasons. Still just 21 years of age, he would be hoping to make the most of every opportunity to fulfil his dream of donning the Maroon jersey.
