Ambati Rayudu started off as a player who was believed to be the next star of Indian cricket, but had to face a great struggle to make his pace in the Indian cricket team. Rayudu made his First-Class debut for Hyderabad, at an age of 16 and led the India U-19 team to the 2004 ICC Cricket World Cup where India finished as a semifinalist.
