Abu Nechim Ahmed, a right-hand fast bowler from Guwahati, picked up plenty of wickets in the 2008 ICC U-19 World Cup. He is often compared to the former India medium-pacer Ajit Agarkar because of his slim build and his quick arm action. He can swing the ball both ways and can control the white ball well. Ahmed made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 before switching to RCB in 2012. He was bought back by the Bengaluru-based team in the IPL Player Auction 2014.
