Player Bio

A tall, classy right-hand batsman, Mir Kaunin Abbas is a professional cricketer for Karnataka who announced his arrival on the domestic scene back in 2016, making his first-class debut against Jharkhand in October 2016.

Born in Karnataka, Abbas grabbed eyeballs for his stint in the University Championship League where he led Jain University to the title triumph. After his exploits for his University team, he was added to Karnataka state team. However, he couldn’t replicate the performances at the state-level that saw him getting sidelined from the star-studded Karnataka side.

On December 1st, 2018, Abbas played his last match at the domestic level for Indian and a year decided to cut ties with the Board of Control for Cricket in India to ply his trade in other leagues around the world. He joined Northern Warriors prior to the start of the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league to revive his fallen career back on track.
