Player Bio

An exciting top-order batsman, Jack Edwards is a professional cricketer who was a part of the Australian U-19 setup for the 2018 World Cup held in New Zealand. The top-order batter made his first-class debut for New South Wales against South Australia in 2018 and in the same year, he became the youngest player to score a century in Australia domestic ODI cricket.

Despite limited opportunities in the BBL, Edwards has been shining at the domestic stages and became the fourth-youngest player to score a first-class century for New South Wales at 18 years and 201 days following a century against Tasmania in 2018 Sheffield Shield.

In April 2021, Edward scored a century to steer the Blues to their twelfth crown in the limited-overs format with a win over Western Australia. A more than a handy seam-up bowler, the youngster would be hoping to prove his worth in the shortest format to cement his place in the Sixers squad.
