A tall explosive right-arm pacer, Chris Tremain is a professional cricketer for Australia who was first capped by New South Wales long back in February 2012 and got limited opportunities for his home state in the first few seasons of his career. After moving to Victoria in 2014, he scalped 16 wickets in his debut season with Victoria and ended up as the leading wicket-taker with 36 wickets the following season.
Despite leaving Sydney in 2014, Tremain continued to play for Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League (BBL) before moving to Melbourne Renegades in 2015. On the back of some impressive performances in the domestic circuit, Tremain earned a callup to the national side for the limited-overs series against South Africa. He made his ODI debut on October 2nd, 2016 in Johannesburg but went for 78 runs in his 10 overs quota.
A product of Yeoval, Tremain returned back to New South Wales after his move back to Sydney Thunder prior to the start of the ninth edition of BBL. At 30 years of age, the Dubbo-born pacer would be looking to bounce back in the upcoming BBL after featuring in just 3 games last season.
