Player Bio

A tricky left-arm orthodox, Arish Ali Khan is an emerging cricketer hailing from Karachi. Arish has been dominating the junior circuit of the game for the past few years. Part of the U-19 Pakistan squad in the 2020 ICC U-19 World Cup, he was extremely unfortunate to not represent the Men in Green on the ground.

Arish emerged from a PCB-based tournament in 2016 when he ended as the leading wicket-taker. Surpassing the big names, he made his place in the hearts of the officials with his bombastic performance scalping 45 wickets in the whole tournament. The Karachi-born spinner became the second-highest wicket-taker in the PCB U19 three-day tournament yielding 30 wickets.

Despite travelling with the squad on multiple occasions, Arish has been really unfortunate about not getting a single chance in the U-19 World Cup. Before the start of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Arish was drafted by the Quetta Gladiators but did not get any opportunity to showcase his skills.

Still just 20 years old, Arish is hopeful of getting generous opportunities to enhance more of his cricketing skills and the day might not be far when Pakistan Cricket Team would be witnessing a new name in its spin department.
