Player Bio

Another young cricketer who has nurtured his skills under the supervision of the superb NSW coaches, Oliver Davies is an Australian cricketer who plays for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.

A stylish right-handed batter with an ability to score runs quickly, Davies signed his first professional contract with the Thunder ahead of the BBL|09 season. But unfortunately, he spent much of the season recovering from a wrist injury.

Davies rose through the Australian U-16 ranks and was always considered the future of the Australian batting lineup.

He grabbed the attention during the 2018/19 U-19 National Championships with his explosive batting. He was the star for NSW Metro and garnered praise from the cricketing fraternities for his power-packed batting.
