Player Bio

An aggressive all-rounder with the thirst to strike the ball big, Sheneta Grimmond rose through the shallow junior structure not only because of her physical ability but also her cricketing skills.

Called up as a reserve during the 2018 home series against South Africa, Sheneta didn’t actually make her debut until the 2019 home series against Australia. She played her maiden ODI match on September 9th, 2019, and dismantled the Aussies’ bowling attack as she carted them for sixes throughout the series.

Still one of the youngest prospects in the West Indies lineup, her maturity is her hallmark, and she has all the requisites to be a quality player in international cricket. Fearless with the bat, the Guyana-born all-rounder is a crafty right-arm spinner. With youth and development on her side, the Guyanese is going to be one to keep an eye on for big things in the future.
