Player Bio

Chiedza Dhururu is a right-handed wicket-keeper batswoman who plays for Zimbabwe national cricket team and made her international debut in 2019.

The youngster was first included in the Zimbabwe squad for the 2019 ICC Women’s T20I World Cup Qualifiers. She played her first match against Mozambique Women but did not get a chance to bat as Zimbabwe won the match by 163 runs.

She was drafted in the squad for the ODI series against Pakistan in 2021. She played in the first game of the series and was unimpressive with the bat, scoring just 8 runs and struggled against the pace attack of Pakistan.

Dhururu has so far struggled at the international level. Her struggles against pace bowling is quite evident and she needs to work on that in order to cement a permanent place in the Zimbabwe squad.
