Thanks for joining us tonight for the live coverage of the ICC U19 World Cup as India make it through into the semifinals. Congratulations to the Indian side for winning their fourth consecutive game of the tournament as they will now face Australia in hard-hitting affair in the semifinals. This was Saurabh Saket alongside Badal Pareek, Shubham Agarwal and our scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. Join us as we bring you updates from fixtures all across the globe. Until then stay tuned and stay safe.

Rakibull Hasan (Captain Bangladesh): The toss played a key role in the match, and they bowled well in the first innings, our batting order could have done better, we could have easily tries to stay their for quite a while before trying to go for go those big shots. We still have a few games left and would like to leave the Caribbean on a positive note.
Yash Dhull (Captain India): The team has bonded well with time which has positively effected our performance. We encourage each other and that helps the players perform better every time we step out on the field. Laxman sir giving his experience gives us a lot of help in the middle. We will look at the semis on the day of the match depending on how the wicket is.
Ravi Kumar (Player of the Match): The plan was very simple, we just had to stick to the line and length, we have already played these guys before so we knew how to approach the game. We knew if we could pile the pressure on them in the first twenty overs, we could restrict them to a small total.
Post-match: The result was going to be an obvious one and India defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets. India chose to bowl first and as they wanted, they restricted and bundled out Ban to a low score of just 111 runs in 37.1 overs. No batsman really got a start or tried to build a partnership. They got off to a horrible start at 14/3 and then wickets kept falling in regular intervals. The best batsman today was Meherob, scoring 30 of 48 balls. The pick of the bowlers was Kumar who rattled Bangladesh’s top order with 3 quick wickets and finished his spell with 3/14 in 7 overs. Ostwal was economical too and bowled brilliantly to take a couple of wickets. It was a good overall performance by the Indian bowling department. Chasing 111 was never going to be a hard task unless Bangladesh bowlers did some magic on the field. They did put the Indian batsman under pressure, bowling tight lines and not giving runs, and also took an early wicket of Harnoor Singh. Angkrish was the in-form batsman and took the team out of trouble, scoring 44 off 65 balls and putting the team in a commanding position. Rasheed played his part too in his partnership with Angkrish. Mondol was their best bowler, picking 4/31 in 9 overs. Yash Dhull played a little cameo of 20 runs and made sure he guided his team to the victory line! India chased the target in just 31 overs and reach the semi-final of the U-19 World Cup 2022 once again!!

30.5 R Hasan to K Tambe
