Player Bio
Rob Ian Keogh is an English professional cricketer who plays for Northamptonshire CCC. He is a multi-dimensional cricketer who bats in the middle-order, while an off-break bowler with the ball in hand. The allrounder made his first-class debut in 2012 but announced himself the following summer with a double-hundred against Hampshire.

Born in Dunstable, in 1991, Keogh started playing minor county cricket for Bedfordshire. He graduated and was picked by the Northants to play just a single first-class match, in his maiden season. The next year, he played 8 games and scored his maiden Championship ton versus Hampshire at Southampton.

Despite establishing himself in the longest format, the Dunstable-born took six seasons to score his maiden List A debut century, against Durham in 2016. Later in the season, he stunned everyone with the ball, too, when Keogh’s off-spinner bagged 13 for 125 against Glamorgan. He had a remarkable Royal London Cup final where he took the wicket of Andre Russell, before finishing the game with the bat.

Since then, the allrounder has been an integral part of the Northants setup. His breakthrough season came in 2019, when he finished with one of the best bowling averages in the Vitality Blast and with nearly 750 Championship runs. Now, the allrounder has become a vital cog of his club, across all formats, who can win trophies for them, in the coming future.
