That's it from a fighting T20I series between the number 3 ranked New Zealand and associate team UAE. The Kiwis take the series 2-1 after a hard fight from the hosts. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya and scorer Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Tim Southee collects the trophy and now the Kiwi players pose for the photographs.
Tim Southee (New Zealand Captain): "Today was by far our best performance throughout the series. That is improvement in the side. A good way to finish the series.

[On debutants] Its great domestic performance through the years and great start to their careers.

The heat was a big factor. We knew it will be hot and extremely sweaty but the guys adjusted well. When you travel, you got to adapt quickly in different conditions."
Mark Chapman (Player of the Series): "It was nice for the boys to rebound today. Very happy to win the series.

The way that Will played, he put the pressure back on the bowlers which made our job easier. It was nice to put some runs on the board and give the bowlers something to bowl at.

It's always tough to play against Test nations for associate nations. UAE played really well. They are going strength to strength and I wish them all the best."
Mark Chapman is the player of the series.
Will Young: "Yes, it was interesting sitting out for the two games. I just got to know what UAE were doing and just observed it. UAE are a fantastic side. I just had my game plan to go out there and do it.

The wicket looked similar to the first game. Bit of grass and a bit of spin on offer. Two-paced initially but was a good one as you played through."
Will Young is the player of the match.
Muhammad Waseem (UAE Captain): "Yeah, I think going to the chase, we wanted a good start. We didn't get the start we wanted and we struggled in the middle overs as well. To be honest, the wicket was a good one. 160 was a good total and was a chasable one. As I said earlier, we didn't get a good start and hence failed to chase.

I personally look to attack the bowlers and that is the way I play and wanted to get 50-55 runs in the Powerplay. That was where I went wrong. Thanks to everyone for coming here and supporting us from all over UAE. It was a very good series for us."
11:07 PM IST, 9:37 PM Local Time: Moving on to the post-match presentations...
10:54 PM IST, 9:24 PM Local time: New Zealand win the third T20I by 32 runs and take the series 2-1 after a valiant effort from UAE. Will Young and Mark Chapman starred with the bat with Ben Lister taking 3 wickets with the ball in defence.

UAE skipper Muhammad Waseem tossed the coin in their favour electing to bowl first after the team's heroics against NZ last night. 2 wickets in the powerplay saw NZ finish the stage at 38/2 but half centuries from Chapman and Young put them to a fighting total of 166/5.

Ben Lister and Kyle Jamieson chipped in early for New Zealand to keep UAE at 40/2 in the powerplay. A partnership was badly needed but the Emirates middle order crumbled under the scoreboard pressure.

Lister (3/35) was the pick of the bowlers with Mitchell Santner (1/21), Kyle Jamieson (1/23) and debutant Adithya Ashok (1/28) taking a wicket apiece. Aayan Khan put up a valiant effort in scoring 42 in 36 balls in the lower middle order.

Aayan added 68 in 61 balls with Basil Hameed who finished unbeaten at 24 in 28 balls. The partnership wasn't enough for UAE to go through the line as the required run rate kept leaping away from their reach.

The Kiwis will now travel to the UK for their 4-match T20I and 4-match ODI series against England.
