A rather comfortable victory for Sussex here as they win this one by 20 runs and an important one too. The difference between the two teams was the fielding and that dropped catch of Shadab Khan. And geez, how Glamorgan had to pay for it. Glamorgan will feel they let slip a match that was in their grip up until the first half of the game.
Sussex went in to bat first but backfired early on as they slipped to 44/4 inside the powerplay. Then began the reconstruction phase with Shadab and Burgess at the job. A couple of dropped catches meant that the Pakistani all-rounder went big and made the Glamorgan unit pay for it as he remained not out at the score 87. Gugten was lethal upfront for Glamorgan providing the early blows. During their chase, Glamorgan found themselves chasing the required run-rate after a poor start. Northeast and Fletcher did try to catch up with it a bit too much was left in the end to lift, and as a result of which Sussex won by 20 runs.
