Milestone
That turned out to be an intriguing affair between two quality sides but it was Nottinghamshire that had the last laugh courtesy the brilliance of Alex Hales!

Here's hoping that we get to see more such encounters that head to the final over which leads to further entertainment. That being said, that's it from our end tonight, as this is Saptak, Wali and Zeeshan signing off!
Alex Hales has been named the Player of the Match!

So that’s that and it’s Nottinghamshire that have secured a win by five wickets!

Batting first, Graham Clark and Alex Lees got off to a decent start as they strung a 35 run stand for Durham. Clark did start off in a quickfire manner and struck 29 (15) before getting dismissed to McKerr. Michael Jones at number three did play a cameo of 26 (12) and kept the scoreboard ticking for Durham. Ashton Turner also contributed with 27 (18) but it was Ollie Robinson's knock of 50 (38) that topped the charts for Durham as they got to a first innings total of 168-6 from 20 overs.

For Nottinghamshire, it was the skipper Steven Mullaney whose cutters that did the trick as he bagged three wickets for just 28 runs from four overs.

As for the run chase, both Joe Clarke and Alex Hales stepped in with a positive intent. Joe Clarke struck 20 (12) and added pressure on Durham before getting caught and bowled to Liam Trevaskis.

Alex Hales brought his A-game at the forefront as he continued to pepper the Durham bowling unit with fours and sixes. Hales did most of the heavy lifting as he got his side to 67 from 5.2 overs.

However, that’s where Durham fought back as they got two wickets in quick succession. Colin Munro 6 (4)  was bowled by Ben Raine, while Matthew Montgomery 6 (6) was sent back to the hut by Nathan Sowter.

Lyndon James did try to consolidate in the middle with 20 (17) but it was Tom Moores’ breezy knock of 32 (19) that provided adequate support to Hales from the other end.

Specialist opener Alex Hales made sure to stick there right till the end and changed gears by being more of an anchor towards the final few overs which made his team breath easy. Alex Hales’ terrific 65 (46)* followed up by some big tonks by Shaheen Afridi 17 (12)*  eventually made Nottinghamshire cross the line with five wickets to spare and four balls in hand.

It was  Ben Raine who stood out with his extraordinary spell of 2-15, but that didn't prove to be enough for them to prevent Nottinghamshire from making it seven wins out of seven against Durham.

19.2 L Trevaskis to S Afridi
6 Afridi finishes off in style! Trevaskis bowled this on a bit hard length and he just lofted this one straight over long off for a  maximum. With that shot, Nottinghamshire clinches a great win by a margin of 5 wickets.
19.1 L Trevaskis to A Hales
1 Single from Hales as he played the length ball on off to mid off.
