9:51 PM IST: We have seen a thriller of a game in this South Group game. In the end, it was Gloucestershire who held their nerves to win the game by 2 runs to get their first win in the competition. Middlesex had the chase under control but couldn't get over the line as they lost their nerves at the last moment. Gloucestershire looked to be losing it, but they end up winning the contest.

Chasing 182 for the win, Middlesex got off to a good start courtesy of their openers Stephen Eskinazi and Joe Cracknell. The duo put on 78 runs for the first wicket in 8 overs. Cracknell made 42 off 28 balls while Eskinazi made 54 off 38 balls. Later on, Hollman scored a quickfire 39 off 19 balls while Ryan Higgins was there in the end with his 24 off 22 balls. But he was the last man to be run-out as they fell short of the target by 2 runs. Middlesex finished with 179/6 in 20 overs. 9 extras were given by the fielding side.

Oliver Price turned the game on its head by picking up two wickets in his opening over. He ended with 3/21 in 2 overs. A wicket apiece for Marchant de Lange and T Smith. Lange bowled well giving away just 28 runs in 4 overs. David Payne despite being wicketless gave away only 26 runs in 4 overs.

Earlier in the game, Middlesex won the toss and opted to chase. Chris Dent fell early for 10 runs off 7 balls. Roelofsen gave the team a rollicking start as he scored a quickfire 34 off 19 balls. Matthew Hammond was the star as he top scored with 59 off 42 balls. Ben Charlesworth scored 13 off 9 balls while van Buuren's 28 off 19 balls propelled the score over the 180-run mark. They ended up with 181/9 with the help of 10 extras given by the fielding side.

For Middlesex, Blake Cullen got three wickets to his name as he finished with 3/38 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Martin Andersson as he finished with 2/30 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Helm, Ryan Higgins, Luke Hollman, and Fernandes who bowled the solitary over and got the wicket to his name.

So, a thrilling 2-run win for Gloucestershire as they notch up their first win the competition while Middlesex remains winless in the competition.
