That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do join us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is me, Tugral Azmi, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide, and scorer Paras Yadav. Bye bye.
Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals Skipper): "Winning is the first and foremost goal of the team. When there were 40 runs, there was a discussion whether I have to go to bat or not. I can't tell you too much (about the injury). It's sore and I have scans tomorrow. It's just personal goals. We just want to win every game. We try to be positive.

We have qualified but there are two crucial games and there are a couple of guys who you want to get back in form. We had good starts with the bat and ball. We have been put under pressure and have responded very well. That's a good sign as a captain. Winning was the key and it is pleasing to see it."
Rilee Rossouw (Player of the Match): "I wasn't happy with the wide called. I have to look at the replay and I might be wrong because he is an experienced umpire. There were a bit of cracks. Not a decent wicket but our bowlers did a great job to restrict them to 160.

I'm not having the best of the seasons. But this game is a step in the right direction and hopefully, I'll contribute."
Rilee Rossouw is the Player of the Match.
Rashid Khan (MI Cape Town Skipper): "I feel it was a great effort and a great game of cricket. In the areas we were struggling in our last games, we didn't improve. We fell 15-20 runs short. In the last over, when the spinner is bowling, you have to score 15 runs. The bowlers did a fine job to take it to the last over.

In a competition when you have plenty of superstars, you have to give time. When things don't go your way, you have to believe and try to keep things simple. We have the best team but you just have to wait for the right time to come and keep believing. We will come back stronger next year. We have to take the positives from here."
Time for the post-match presentation.
1:03 PM IST | What a heroic performance by Wayne Parnell-led side. What a thriller we have seen today. Ultimately, Pretoria Capitals maintained their winning streak and prevailed by 1 wicket in this tight match.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, MI Cape Town, after being invited to bat first, were bundled out for a challenging 159 runs in the 19.4th over.  Rassie van der Dussen was the top contributor for the Capitals, as he smashed 51 runs off 29 balls with the help of 4 boundaries and 4 long sixes, while Rashid Khan smashed quick 14 runs in just 9 balls. On the flip side, Eathan Bosch, Anrich Nortje, and Jimmy Neesham extracted 2 wickets each. Wayne Parnell and Joshua Little scalped a wicket each.

Defending 160 was always going to be a difficult task on this surface. The openers of Pretoria Capitals Phil Salt and Kusal Mendis gave the team a brisk start, adding 50 runs for the first wicket. Salt (9 off 9) was the first one to be dismissed. Kusal Mendis followed him after playing a quick-fire knockoff 39 off 25. The skipper of MI Cape Town who trapped Theunis de Bruyn in his spin and showed the way to the pavilion and the Capitals were reeling at the score of 53/3.

Shane Dadswell was joined by Rilee Rossouw and both started the recovery work for the Capitals. Both took some time to settle but teed off once they got their eye in. Rossouw played aggressively and Dadswell played the role of a second fiddle perfectly. They put 59 between them before the former was cleaned up by Rabada on 40. Rilee Rossouw's dismissal turned out to be a big blow for Pretoria Capitals. They were losing wickets in short intervals. Senuran took charge of the team and played a scintillating inning of 25 runs to take the team close to the target. Crucial cameo inning of Anrich Nortje (10). Wayne Parnell remained unbeaten, took the team home, and had one wicket in hand.

Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers for the MI Cape Town, as he scalped 3 wickets and gave away just 26 runs in 4 overs. Duan Jansen and Odean Smith scalped a couple of wickets each, while Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada took a wicket a piece each, but it was not enough to stop the Pretoria Capitals from securing a hard-fought victory.

The MI Cape Town are almost out of the competition and needs a miracle to qualify for the semifinals.

19.6 S Curran to J Little
2 A thick outside edge over the inner circle in the off side, the batters complete two runs and the Capitals win a humdinger of a contest here at the SuperSport Park. Curran attempts a yorker but overcooks it as he ends up bowling a low full toss, Little swings hard at it and mistimes it but gets enough on it as the ball flies over Smith at cover point. Smith chases after it but the batters have enough time to complete two runs. The Pretoria Capitals beat MI Cape Town by one wicket.
Crucial dot ball. Pretoria Capitals need 2 off just 1 ball left.
19.5 S Curran to J Little
0 Curran bowls it full outside off and Little drives at it but gets beaten on the outside edge. A dot ball and the equation is now 2 required from the last ball.
2 runs required from 2 balls.
Scores are level with this extra run...!! Rashid Khan takes a review for caught behind. Fair delivery to start with. Wide has been reversed.
19.4 S Curran to J Little
0 Curran errs in line as he sprays it down leg and Little misses the flick. Wide signaled by the umpire and scorers are leveled. Rashid thinks that the ball brushed Little's pad and he reviews it. Clever from Rashid to send it upstairs. If it has brushed his pad, the decision will be changed from wide to a dot.

Umpire review for a clear catch. Brevis has taken the catch. Soft signal is Not-Out. The third umpire cleared all the confusion. It is not a bump ball and a clean catch has been pouched.
19.3 S Curran to S Muthusamy
W WICKET!!!! Another twist in the tale. Curran bowls it full outside off, Muthusamy guides it straight into the hands of Brevis at backward point who takes a simple catch. Muthusamy is waiting and the umpires have a chat among themselves before sending it upstairs to check for a bump ball. Soft signal is NOT OUT.
