That’s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌✌
Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings Skipper): "I was thinking how to play that ball (On the ball he got dismissed). He bowled an arm ball and that should have been dispatched to the boundary. The ball was sticking a bit on the surface. The powerplay is important and you can see how Wade came out and played those strokes. du Plooy is having a fantastic season and he is showing great maturity.

The surface is a bit drier. So the spinners are playing a part in this competition. Coetzee is bowling well. It's raw pace and is maturing as we are progressing. I'm disappointed to play the semi-final in Centurion. Finished in the top two but we have to play the semi-final in Cape Town. The surface there is completely opposite and we have to be at our best."
Leus du Plooy (Player of the match): "it was tough to time it all and luckily we had a chance to play here yesterday and we got some idea about it. It's a fantastic tournament to be a part of, it's great to play under Faf and Fleming. I am going to keep improving and learning from them."
Leus du Plooy is named the Player of the Match.
Rashid Khan (MI Cape Town Skipper): "I think the way we started with the ball, things were under control. But in the middle overs, we let that go. In the end, we gave away too many runs. Anything under 150 would have been a good total to chase. We will take positives from it.

Overall, if you look at this competition, we didn't take the games deep. Also, we didn't bat well. That's the area we have to improve. 20 is a lot of overs to play and we have to look into that area. The batters will have to take the game deep and allow the finishers to finish the game.

To be honest, I absolutely loved playing here. The atmosphere in the stadiums is great and it's going to be a massive competition after IPL. The fans come out to support their team and it is going to grow in the next 2-3 years."
Time for the post-match presentation.
12:27 AM IST | Deepak: That's it, a comprehensive victory for the yellow army as they defeated MI Cape Town by a huge 76 runs and remained undefeated at their home venue.🙌🙌

The Joburg Super Kings got off to a fantastic start after being invited to bat first, with Leus du Plooy delivering a scintillating knock of 81*, which proved to be the difference maker. His electrifying innings rescued the Kings from a critical situation, as they posted a formidable score of 189 runs in 20 overs. On the other hand, MI Cape Town's bowlers, Sam Curran, and Jofra Archer put in a solid performance, sharing a couple of wickets each.

The chase for the 189 runs by MI Cape Town was a rocky one, with Wesley Marshall departing for just 4 runs, leaving the side with a lot of work to do. Grant Roelofsen and Rassie van der Dussen put up a fight, but their progress was brought to a halt when van der Dussen departed for 20 runs. The side lost a couple of quick wickets and were struggling at 55/4 in the 10th over. Dewald Brevis and Tim David tried to steady the ship, but their efforts were cut short when Tim David departed for 17 runs off 8 balls in the 12th over. The wickets kept tumbling for MI Cape Town, and finally, they were bundled out for 113 runs.

On the other hand, the Joburg Super Kings' bowlers put in a dominant performance, with Kyle Simmonds and Gerald Coetzee scalping three wickets each, and Maheesh Theekshana chipping in with a couple of wickets. Lizaad Williams and Donavon Ferreira each contributed one wicket to MI Cape Town's downfall.

The Joburg Super Kings will be proud of their performance, especially Leus du Plooy, who stole the show with his dazzling knock of 81*.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
