06:27 PM IST| That's a wrap from our end.
Thanks to everyone joining in for the match. We appreciate your time, hope you enjoyed the match along with us. On behalf of my co-commentator Prince Suman and along with our scorer Yogesh Kumar, I, Amit Das, am bidding you all goodbye. Stay tuned with us for more cricketing stuffs coming your way, till then Bye-Bye!!!!!!!!

Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Captain, Peshawar Zalmi): "Bowlers bowled great. Thought 60 short first. Pitch is slightly different. Bowlers adapted really well. Put them under pressure, spinners were understanding and everyone chipped in to take wickets. Feels good to get a win before playoff starts."
Mohammad Haris gets Player of the Match Award. "First thought it was 220 wicket. Then saw it was gripping. Then changed mind to score near 200. I am happy to bat anywhere, need to flexible and play well for my team whenever they require."
Shadab Khan( Islamabad United Captain): "In this game, we experimented in an effort to give everyone a chance and to give players a chance to get back into shape who were out of shape. The outcome of the game was not what we had hoped for. Although we believed it to be chaseable, we played poorly."
06:12 PM IST| Zalmi gets back on the winning track as they beat Islamabad by 13 runs despite Faheem's heroics
Earlier in the game, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to send opponents for a bat first on a flat batting track of Rawalpindi. After being invited to bat first, Zalmi openers gave a solid start to their innings. Md Haris was promoted up the order (as their skipper Babar Azam missed out on the match). What a decision it turned out to be. He smashed all over the park even after losing his fellow opener right in the first over. Along with Bhanuka, he played a 115-run partnership to take the score to 116 runs after the first ten overs.
But afterward, the momentum started shifting towards Islamabad. They started picking up wickets at regular intervals. Although Peshawar made a comeback but not up to the extent it looked at one time. For Islamabad, Hasan Ali was star of the match with his three scalps; he got support from Shadab, Faheem and Farooqi as they restricted the Zalmis to 179 runs.
On the flip side, when Islamabad came to chase down the score. They looked off colour from the very first over. They kept on losing wickets. In the powerplay itself, they lost three top-order batters in a chase of 180 which turned out to be costly for them in the later stage of the game.Hales, Munro and Maqsood all got start and 15 runs each but couldn't convert them into big scores as they all got out one after another at the crucial juncture of the game gifting momentum to the opponent. In the middle phase, Gurbaz and Shadab held the innings for a bit with their partnership of 35 runs, even from there on they couldn't capitalize on their chances. Most of the batters threw their wickets upfront.
They were 111 for 8 at one stage. But Faheem came to bat and went bang, bang and bang. He kept hitting sixes and took the game to the last over. But Shahzad caught him off guard with a well-executed yorker. They ended up 13 runs short. From Zalmi's perspective, their bowlers kept the line and length tight. Muqeem picked up three wickets along with Neesham and Aamer. But star of their bowling attack was Khurram Shahzad, bowling most important overs of the game. He got three dismissals under his belt.
These two teams will face off again in the first eliminator to be played next week. They have a lot to play for in the next game!
