We made some mistakes in the bowling. Anwar Ali is exactly the player we require for this type of situations. He may not play big innings, but these are important. The way we came back and chased 243 is awesome!"

11:28 pm IST| When two match winning batter Mohammed Rizwan and Khushdil Shah fell short early in the innings, it was up to the protea big hitter who is a recognized hard hitter.
Then Kieron Pollard joined the party and started changing gears against the spinners. He reached his half century in just 22 balls, just 4 balls more than Rossouw today. But soon after making his fifty, Pollard walked in the road back to the pavilion. Then Tim David(2), the aussie big hitter struggled and gave his wicket away. After that a short partnership occurred between Rossouw and Khushdil Shah and that partnership of 58 runs off 29 balls, made the chase look more gettable. Rilee was finding boundaries at times and was rotating strike and he kept on doing this even after Shah's dismissal. But when the equation was 16 off 10 and with Ali striking well and cunningly, Rossouw found himself into the hands of Kohler-Cadmore who took an excellent catch at long on. But it was not bothering as few big scoring hits from Anwar Ali and Usama Mir sealed the game for Multan Sultans.
Coming to bat in the first innings, banking on the blistering knock from Babar Azam and Saim Ayub and some quick smash from Mohammed Haris and Tom Kohler-Cadmore helped Peshawar to reach 242.

Rilee Rossouw lived up to the expectation after Rizwan(7) top edged one to deep fine leg off Arshad Iqbal and Shan Masood(5) also departed playing a completely wrong line. After that when new batter Kieron Pollard was struggling initially, Rossouw took charge of Zalmi bowlers and hit them here and there. He pulled them, he flicked them and played every possible scoring shot as per his potential. With his hard hitting, he helped Multan to reach 66 at the end of the powerplay being not out at 45 off 15 that time.
