That’s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya and Scorer/Analyst Manish Bishnoi, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "They had a good start. When we first started, it was a little difficult. Ayub and Haris batted quite well. We found it challenging while we were batting. Par for this wicket was 160. I am very happy with our pace bowling. As batters and power hitters, you must adapt. Usama prevents any squad from gaining any momentum. He continuously does it for us."
Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi Captain): "Our bowling fell short of expectations. Also, the fielding was poor. Rizwan played solid baseball. We failed to carry out our ideas. The pitch was excellent. The strain on us grew after consecutive wickets. The two young people did a great job carrying out the team's goals. Ayub and Harris shown strong motivation. They would strive to improve in the future. In comparison to Karachi, the conditions here are different."
Rilee Rossouw (Player of the match): "The first game, in my opinion, was a touch tacky. a little two-paced. Nonetheless, the second game was excellent. We were aiming for 160,  but with wickets in hand and momentum, we got over 200."
It's time for the post-match presentation.
Shan Masood: "Yes, we did not want to be in a situation where we thought we are 15 runs short. The fast bowlers bowled really well today. Usama Mir was very clever in how he used the surface today. He kept varying in lengths and he was under the pump for a while but made a good comeback. We are very clear about our roles. We were sloppy in the first game against Lahore but now it's all about making sure about our responsibilities."
10:20 PM IST | Deepak: A loud cheer for the home side as the Mohammad Rizwan-led, Multan Sultans have hammered the Babar Azam-led, Peshawar Zalmi by a whopping 56 runs, and with this, Multan Sultans have thumped Peshawar Zalmi five times in a row.🎉🎉

The Multan Sultans put on a sensational batting display after being invited to bat first, amassing a massive total of 210 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw led the charge with their explosive batting, setting the tone for the rest of the innings. Rizwan played a composed inning, accumulating 66 runs off 42 balls, while Rossouw went on a rampage, smashing all the bowlers to all corners of the ground and scoring a blistering 75 runs off just 36 balls. Despite some resistance from the bowlers, particularly Salman Irshad, who managed to take a couple of wickets, the Multan Sultans' batting line-up proved too strong and continued to pile on the runs.

In pursuit of Multan Sultans’ mammoth, 210 runs the visitors Peshawar Zalmi got off to a rollicking start as their opener Mohammad Haris started taking on the opponents from the very first over but he didn’t get any assistance from his co-opener and skipper Babar Azam who failed to impress with the bat and departed for a meager 9 runs. The right-hand speedster  Ihsanullahđź’Ş trapped him in front of the stumps with a smearing yorker delivery.

Saim Ayubđź’Ą came out to bat at number three, and the young bloke surprised everyone with his breathtaking shots. Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub were destroying the bowlers all around the corners, but their efforts were cut short when Mohammad Haris cost his wicket in a big mix-up and got run out for 40 runs. Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who came in to bat at number four, failed to make an impact with the bat and departed for a mere three runs, leaving the visitors in a spot of bother.

Rovman Powell came out all guns blazing and was in scintillating form, but his progress was halted when he fell prey to Abbas Afridi in the 15th over and departed after a quick 23 runs. On the other hand, Saim Ayub continued to impress and brought up his well-deserved half-century, but unfortunately, he couldn't carry on until the end and departed after scoring a valiant 53 runs. Saim Ayub was the last hope for the visitors, and Usama Mir clean-bowled him with a leg break. Eventually, Peshawar Zalmi were bundled out for 154 runs.

From the bowling front, Ihsanullah and Usama Mir extracted three wickets and Abbas Afridi chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Carlos Brathwaite contributed one wicket to the Peshawar Zalmi's downfall.

Overall it was a dominant performance from the Multan Sultans and they will look to carry their momentum in the upcoming matches, while Peshawar Zalmi needs to regroup and come back stronger in the next match.

Stick around for the post-match presentation..

17.4 A Afridi to J Neesham
W CAUGHT! Masood takes a good catch and Afridi has the final laugh here. Zalmi now 9 down. Good length delivery angling across, Neesham goes for a wild hoick against the angle and gets the top edge that balloons up in the air. Masood at deep mid-wicket sprints forward and completes the catch.
