In the latter half, they changed their gear with Mahmudul Hasan Joy at the helm. But there was no support, as the wickets kept falling after. Nahidul played a short cameo of 22 off 17 balls. For Sylhet, their pick of bowlers were Imad Wasim and Tanzim Sakib. They combinedly picked up 5 wickets in their 8-over spell taking half of the side.
In response, Sylhet lost their two wickets early. But it was Zakir Hasan who stood tall to take his side home today. The southpaw played elegant shots to make 50 off 46 balls. He was well supported by the stand-in skipper Rahim as they both reached the target before falling out in quick succession. In the end, Ryan did the unfinished job. 6 SIXXX!!!! Ryan Burl finishes things in style. This was a flatter delivery from Murad outside off, Burl hangs back and pulls it hard over the cow corner fence for a biggie. With this, the Sylhet Strikers beat the Khulna Tigers by six wickets.
