9:39 PM IST| Ranpur Riders won the match convincingly, they have put up a good show against the table toppers. Rony Talukdar showed the path and the rest followed. Rangpur had complete control throughout the match, they were in the game. But for Sylhet their bowling let them down.
Rangpur won the toss earlier in the match and choose to bowl first. Whereas Sylhet missed their captain Mortaza, Rahim came for the toss. They were struggling in the first 10 overs, courtesy Omarzai's sensational bowling. After the 10-over mark, they changed their gear as they accumulated 115 runs in the last ten. Opener Hridoy along with stand-in captain Rahim complemented each other to get to a fighting total. Rangpur lost the momentum for a bit but came back stronger in the chase. Rony swung his arms all around the park for a well-made 66 off 35. Naim played his part, openers set the platform and let Malik and Sohan finish the job. These two senior pro put up a 52-run partnership to win it for them. Malik remains unbeaten as he hit 41 runs. Rangpur Riders peaking up at the right time. They are looking to finish in top 2 to get the advantage. Sylhet will go back and rectify their mistakes.
