Milestone
That's it from all of us for this game. We will be back with all the action around the globe. For now, I'm Tugral Azmi, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu and scorers Paras Yadav. Tata. Bye Bye.
Alyssa Healy (Australia Captain): "While we were on the field, it was difficult, but it was great to see the outcome. They were, in my opinion, a little lacking. We were confident that if we batted well, we could succeed. Even if we didn't use the ball well in the end, we were still in the game. We simply need to clean up on the field and in the death overs. There are a few new employees there. Moving forward, we simply need to tighten things up."
Beth Mooney (Player of the Match): "Oh, yeah I think I love batting in these situations, and fortunately it has come against India a couple of times. Yeah, really nice wicket. It was a good batting wicket, beautiful wicket, fast outfield, and a great match tonight."
Player of the Match: Beth Mooney.
Game Changer of the Match: Beth Mooney.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Captain): "I think it was a decent total. We were in the game till the thirteenth over. We created chances but our fielding was not up to the mark. It becomes a bit difficult at the night with the catches but we need to take these chances.

Radha is one of our best fielders, and it wasn't as easy. The bowlers were trying their best but once they  [Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath] got the chance and then they were brilliant."
10:09 PM IST | Time for Presentation now.
Tahlia McGrath: "Yeah, it is nice to start the series with a win. Nice to come back as a team with a win. India is a great place to travel. Yeah, I think it starts with the training- push each other well in the nets, we try to keep getting better.

Yeah, some of the Indian batters played really well- some of them at the backend. We saw that it was a quick outfield. Moons [Beth Mooney] have been outstanding today. No, I am good to go [bowl]. Everyone else bowled today. Obviously, she [Alyssa Healy] needs me later."
9:57 PM IST| Australia-W showed real dominance in the match and won the game quite comfortably by 9 wickets. Have taken an assailable 1-0 lead in this five-match T20 series. Australia-W chased down 173 without much fuss to win the game with 11 balls to spare.

Chasing 173, Australia-W got off to a solid start. Mooney and Healy started attacking the Indian bowlers as soon as they arrived at the stage. During the powerplay itself, 47 runs were put on the board, which opened the gates for a smooth chase. The openers stitched a good partnership of 73 runs with Anjali Vaidya providing India with the first and only breakthrough in the form of Healy (37 off 23).

After that, Tahlia came to support Mooney, who started scoring runs at a brisk rate with Mooney, both shared an unbeaten 100-run partnership for the second wicket. Mooney played an unbeaten sensational knock of 89* off just 57 with 16 boundaries. On the other hand, Tahlia McGrath also supported her fully, she also contributed an unbeaten 40 runs and led his team to victory by 9 wickets.

From the Indian side, Harmanpreet will not be happy with the performance of her players as none of the bowlers managed to take wickets except Radha.
18.1 D Sharma to T McGrath
2 Full and at the middle and leg stump line. Tahlia shuffles on the backfoot and whips it towards the deep backward square leg region for a double. Beth calls for the second one and scampers through for a risky double. Australia have done it and the duo of Tahlia McGrath and Beth Mooney have ridden Aussie with a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.🔥
2 more runs needed to win with 2 overs in hand. Deepti comes in.
