7:44 PM IST | Probuddha: That’s it from an unbelievable match between Bangladesh and India. The hosts played amazing cricket to win this match. This is Probuddha Bhattacharjee signing off for this match on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Badal Pareek, and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. We will join you again with the live coverage of the second match on the 7th of December, Wednesday at 10:30 AM IST. Till then, good night folks!!!!! Have a good time.

Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "Very happy. Very, very happy. When I was sitting in the dressing room, I was nervous. I enjoyed Mehidy and Fizz's batting. I enjoyed those 6-7 overs. In the middle phase, they bowled really well and put us under pressure.

When Shakib Bhai and I were batting, I thought we could chase this down easily. But once Shakib Bhai and I got out, we were banking on Mushfiqur Bhai to seal the contest for us. But after losing all of those big players, we were under pressure.

But thanks to Mehidy Hasan Miraz for an incredible performance. Nothing more I have to say, just congratulations, congratulations, Miraz."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Player of the Match): "All of the credit to God for providing me with the opportunity. I am thankful to God. Me and Fizz thought that we need to focus and believe in ourselves.

I said to Mustafizur that stay there for 20 balls, and rest I will see what happens. The ball was turning at the beginning and I looked to bowl wicket to wicket. Very very happy obviously with the win as India is a strong team."
Player of the Match: Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Most Valuable Player of the Match: KL Rahul
Tiger of the Match: Shakib Al Hasan
Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "It was a very close game. We did pretty well to come back into that position. We didn't bat well to post a good score. I think we bowled well, and we did really well there. But, in the end, they held their nerve to win the game. If you talk about our bowling, the forty overs we bowled were really good. But you would want to bowl well in the last moments and take wickets. But we were short of runs. That is what it is. I think we were 40-50 runs short.

I think when KL and Washi were batting, we were going towards a good score. Wickets fell in clusters after that and during the start as well. The wicket was a bit of a challenging one. We needed to bat well. I think we needed to adjust to these conditions here. We must learn and comprehend how to play on such pitches. We have no excuse because we are used to these wickets.

I'm not sure how much they can improve in a couple of practice sessions. I believe the genes are present, and it is simply a matter of dealing with stress. I am confident that these players will improve, and we eagerly await the next game. We're hoping to turn things around. In these circumstances, we know exactly what we must do."
7:31 PM IST | Time for post-match presentations!

7:14 PM IST| Probuddha: What a win!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! Just one word, unbelievable. Bangladesh have pulled off an unreal heist here. Mehidy Hasan Miraz made it a one-man show as he took his team home under pressure.

Earlier in the day, Litton Das won the toss and decided to field first. India lost Shikhar within the 5th over of the innings, and after that, Virat and Rohit were looking to take time out in the middle to stabilize the innings.

In the 11th over of the innings, India lost both their pillars. Shakib Al Hasan gave a huge double blow to India, because of which India failed to reach a formidable total.

But after this, India put together a couple of decent partnerships. KL Rahul (73 off 70) was the man holding it together for India as Shreyas Iyer (24 off 39) and Washington Sundar (19 off 43) played around him. But by the 33rd over of the innings, India lost two more wickets, and this resulted in a collapse that prevented India from reaching 200.

India lost 6 wickets for 34 runs and was bundled out for 186 runs in 41.2 overs. Shakib finished with the figures of 5 for 36 in his 10 overs. He was aided by Ebadot Hossain, who picked up 4 wickets for 47 runs in 8.2 overs.

In the chase, India got off to a dream start as Deepak Chahar dismissed Shanto on the very first ball. In the 10th over the innings, Siraj gave India the 2nd success in the form of Anamul Haque when Bangladesh’s score was just 26 runs. After this, Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das, the two most experienced batters of the Bangladesh batting order, steadied their ship and gradually took them closer to the target.

Washington Sundar brought India back into the match with two quick wickets of Litton Das (41 off 63) and Shakib Al Hasan (29 off 38). But Mahmudullah Riyad and Mushfiqur Rahim once again stitched a decent partnership of 33 runs, and it appeared that they will take the hosts across the line.

But the Indian bowlers had different ideas, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj picked up Mahmudullah (14 off 35) and Mushfiqur (18 off 45) of consecutive deliveries to bring India back into the match again.

Bangladesh lost a cluster of wickets, and it looked like India would win the match. But Mehidy Hasan Miraz fought till the end, trying to take his team across the line. The chase was stretched by the last pair of Bangladesh, and it was a thrilling contest till the end.

And it was Mehidy Hasan who played a gem of a knock, scoring 38 off 39 runs and taking Bangladesh to a one-wicket win with 4 overs remaining in the match.

Dropped chances and erratic bowling under pressure, India just gifted the match away in the end from an advantageous position. The hosts take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony!!

That's it!!!!! Bangladesh have pulled off an unbelievable heist.
45.6 D Chahar to Miraz
1 Mehidy Hasan Miraz, remember the name! Bangladesh have won by 1 wicket. Fuller length outside the off. With all the fielders inside the circle on the off-side, Mehidy just chips it over the covers for a boundary to put the agony on the face of India! Mehidy has stolen it from the grasp of India. Officials will only take a run. The Men in Blue have themselves to blame at.
Is it???!!!!!!!! Third umpire checking the run out. Replays show he is safeeeeee!!!!!!! Scores level....Fifty runs partnership of the last wicket with that.
45.5 D Chahar to M Rahman
1 Good length on the stumps. Rahman tucks it to mid-wicket for a single. A direct hit at the bowler's end. Replays confirm that Rahman has made that. Not out. Scores are level!
45.4 D Chahar to M Rahman
0 FREE HIT! Short ball over the left shoulder. Rahman swings for a pull, but fails to connect.
No balll!!!!! India gifted the match here to Bangladesh.
45.4 D Chahar to Miraz
1nb Short ball angling into the body of the batter. Mehidy pulls it down to deep square leg for a single. No ball from the bowler! Dear O'Dear! The third umpire confirms it, as the replay suggests! Deepak Chahar, what are you doing?
