So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer for this fixture, Paras. There is lots of cricket tomorrow with two LPL matches, the second Women's T20I between India and Australia while the Test matches between Australia/West Indies and Pakistan/England will also continue. Don't miss out on any of those matches with us!
Wanindu Hasaranga (Kandy Falcons Skipper): "Yes, especially in the middle overs when we lost wickets. The way Chamika and Bandara handled the pressure got us the win. The fast bowlers were slow to see and the wicket turned a lot for the spinners. I think he (Bandara) batted well and got tired and could not run. So, we thought Isuru can run well and can play big shots. That's why we took the call of retiring him. I am glad it worked out well and happy with the win."
Thisara Perera, Jaffna Kings skipper: "We needed some more runs on the board. 160 would have been a good total. (Reason for Perera coming late in the order) We wanted to expose our youngsters in a tricky situation, that's why I came late!"
Chamika Karunaratne (Player of the Match): "Yes I can. I feel great, this is what we love. I want to play no matter what. I am having a hard time and want to play. The recovery is hard and just proving to myself what I am and where I am at myself. I want to fight like a warrior."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
What a dramatic victory for Kandy Falcons! Both the keeper and the bowler missed their attempts to fire down the stumps! Chamika Karunaratne has turned out to be the hero for Kandy! Kandy have their third win in three matches courtesy this thrilling three-wicket victory.

Chasing 148 for victory, Kandy lost Andre Fletcher early as Zaman Khan had him caught at backward point in the third over. Thereafter, the duo of Pathum Nissanka and Kamindu Mendis played some glorious shots as Kandy looked to be cruising in the Powerplay. Out of nowhere, Kamindu edged a half-volley from James Fuller as Jaffna Stallions got some hope. The spin duo of Vijayakanth Viyaskanth and Dunith Wellalage reduced the opposition's scoring rate before starting to strike crucial blows. First, Nissanka edged behind a flighted delivery from Wellalage in the tenth over while Hasaranga dragged onto the stumps off the young left-arm spinner a couple of overs later.

Kandy continued to collapse as Fabian Allen pulled a short-ish delivery from Viyaskanth to long-on. Carlos Brathwaite also didn't last long as Maheesh Theekshana came in and forced an outside-edge in the 15th over. The pair of Ashen Bandara and Chamika Karunaratne had a stiff chase ahead and the Jaffna bowlers made the equation even tougher with some superb bowling. Kandy required 31 runs off the last 12 balls when Bandara and Karunaratne combined to take 15 runs from the penultimate over. Jaffna took a big decision to retire out Ashen Bandara at this juncture to bring in Isuru Udana. Meanwhile, James Fuller was tasked with bowling the final over and he was met by two sixes from Chamika as the game turned on its head. Fuller managed to come back in the over as he dragged it to one run needed off the final delivery. The batter, Isuru Udana missed the ball but he managed to get across for a bye which took Kandy across the line!

19.6 J Fuller to I Udana
1b Full and wide here, Udana plays and misses. Chamika starts off and the keeper misses and so does the bowler at the bowler's end as they miss the stump and they sneak in a bye to win the contest. Kandy Falcons wins this game by 3 wickets off the final ball of the game to stay on top of the table. They win by the barest of margins here.
19.5 J Fuller to C Karunaratne
1 Short of a length here, Chamika hits it to the cover fielder for a single. Scores are level now. Could we be in for a Super Over?
19.4 J Fuller to I Udana
1 Length ball here, Udana goes for the slog and gets an inside edge to the short fine-leg fielder for a single. The fielder dives to keep it to a single.

Karthik: WOW! THE WOUNDED WARRIOR CHAMIKA KARUNARATNE! He is doing it for Kandy despite taking painkillers!
19.2 J Fuller to C Karunaratne
6 SIX MORE! Full and wide angling away, Chamika reaches out and goes up and over covers as the ball sails over covers and into the stands for the maximum. Is Chamika doing it for the Falcons here?
19.1 J Fuller to C Karunaratne
6 SIX! Length ball from Fuller here, Chamika picks it and thumps it down the ground straight into the stands. He just flat bats this over long-on and clears the field completely.

That should be close! Ashen Bandara produced a dive but he was struggling. Oh! The replays show that Bandara's dive was good enough!
18.6 Z Khan to A Bandara
2 Length ball into the pitch, Bandara drills it hard to the midwicket region and tries to come back for the second run. A run-out check has been sent upstairs and replays confirm that the dive has saved him here.
