That's all from our side as well. Pakistan registered their first series win against New Zealand since the year 2011. I hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of Megh Mandaliya and scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Babar Azam (Pakistan Captain): "Yeah, you get relieved whenever you win a series. It was a slow wicket but we had enough partnerships in the middle. We were eyeing 270 but it was good to have a total above 280 today.

Shadab and Nawaz executed the plans today and bowled in the channel. Nawaz got injured but Agha Salman bowled superbly. We are trying to chase a score above 350 in ODIs and defend a score below 300. We don't want to be relaxed as there are still a couple of games to go.

We have already checked our bench strength with different combinations. We will try to carry this performance forward in the upcoming matches."
Tom Latham (New Zealand Captain): "Probably slowed up a little bit (About pitch) but a couple of strong partnerships could have altered the outcome. Despite this setback, I was impressed by our ability to adapt, and our bowlers did an excellent job.

As we approached the halfway mark, we were reasonably satisfied with our performance. However, although we got off to a good start, we were unable to sustain the momentum after losing a couple of wickets.

Unfortunately, we were unable to establish a strong partnership after losing the opening wicket, which is crucial when it comes to successful chases. Despite this setback, it's worth noting that Blundell has been an incredible player and McConchie had an impressive debut.

McConchie not only bowled well in the middle overs but also managed to deliver some crucial hits towards the end of the game. Overall, while the result may not have been in our favor, we can take solace in the individual performances of our players."
Imam-ul-Haq (Player of the Match): "When you play with the same opener from the last six years, it really helps. We knew the conditions would not be the same as Pindi here. I believe 280-290 was a good score here. Me and Babar talked about getting a good partnership cause if we get out it will be really difficult for the middle order to construct those and score immediately. Yes, I missed a century again but I am happy as long as my team is winning."
12:06 AM IST | Time for the post-match presentation...
11:56 PM IST | That will do it for Pakistan! They win the third ODI comfortably by 26 runs and gain an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the series. It was another all-round performance from the hosts on a rather sluggish surface at Karachi and Pakistan has defeated New Zealand in an ODI series for the first time since 2011.

Chasing a decent total of 288, Will Young started the New Zealand innings alongside gloveman Tom Blundell, who was promoted to the opening slot today. The right-handed started on a sedate note and adjusted to the conditions before Blundell went all guns blazing and cashed in on the looseners. Young also kept the scorecard moving at a swift rate in the powerplay.

Blundell and Young propelled New Zealand to their best powerplay total (57/0) in this ODI series so far. Both the batters continued to exert pressure on the hosts and were making things simpler for New Zealand. Just when the situation was getting bleak for Pakistan, the 83-run opening partnership was broken as a consequence of a runout. Will Young was the victim and had to walk back for 33(41).

Tom Blundell kept New Zealand in the hunt and registered his maiden half-century in ODI cricket. Daryl Mitchell, the next batter in, continued his blistering form in the series and took the aggressive route early on but the right-hander holed out in the deep in the process and had to depart for 21(24).

Right when Blundell and Tom Latham were retrieving the innings, another mix-up hampered New Zealand’s spirits. On this occasion, the well-set Blundell 65(78) was returned to the pavilion in dismay. Mark Chapman joined forces with Tom Latham and absorbed the pressure but the soaring asking run rate was concerning for the Blackcaps.

Chapman succumbed to building pressure and was dismissed for 13(21). Agha Salman then got the better off Henry Nicholls 1(5) who was caught out attempting a needless sweep. Following Henry’s wicket, the Pakistan spinners were exceptional to dry up the boundaries and they thrust New Zealand into deep waters.

Mohammad Wasim Jr cleaned up Latham 45(60) in the 42nd over and put Pakistan in a commanding position. Debutant Cole McConchie went on an onslaught and brought up his maiden half-century in ODI cricket. He also scored the fastest fifty by a Kiwi batter on debut by achieving the feat in 35 deliveries. However, the right-hander never got support from the other end and eventually, the target was too big to be hunted by him alone.

McConchie attained the red-inker and swatted 64*(45), which included 6 fours and 2 maximums to his credit. As far as the bowling front is concerned, the speedster trio of Shaheen, Naseem, and Wasim bagged two wickets each while right-arm spinner Salman also extracted a wicket.

Stick around for the post-match presentation!
49.1 N Shah to C McConchie
W+1 WICKET!! RUN OUT!! Fuller delivery on the middle and leg stump line. McConchie drills it to the right of the long-on and returns for the second run but Henry fails to make it back in the crease and falls short of the crease. That's it, Pakistan wins by 26 runs and seal the series by 3-0 with two games still left in the series.
Naseem Shah will bowl the final over. New Zealand needs 5 maximums.

Excellent over from Shaheen. He just conceded 7 runs off the penultimate over.
48.6 S Afridi to C McConchie
1 Single to end the over. Length delivery outside the off. McConchie gets the thick inside edge of the  bat and the ball rolls down to  fine leg for a single.
48.5 S Afridi to M Henry
1 Fuller delivery on the middle and leg. Henry drills it to wide of mid-on for a single.

48.4 S Afridi to I Sodhi
W WICKET! BOWLED'EM!! Nails the on-spot yorker straight on the off-stump line. Sodhi gets his bat down quickly but still, he is a bit late as the ball past the bat and strikes at the bottom of the off-stump. Brilliant from Shaheen Shah Afridi.
